Our founder, Sia Bharadwaj, was born and raised in San Ramon, California. At the age of eight she picked up a passion for soccer and has had a ball at her feet ever since. Her journey playing soccer had opened her eyes to the world around her, and as she grew older and started to compete at higher levels she noticed that the diversity in the sport had thinned out.

Sia has opened Kicks and Goals in order to promote soccer around the world and create diversity in the sport. Through this non profit Sia wants to help young girls living in rural areas around the world to get involved in sports. Sia hopes to inspire the next generation of young female athletes to rise up from areas all around the world and create a bright future in women’s sports.
