Hi there! My name is Sia Bharadwaj and I am the founder of Kicks and Goals, a non-profit organization aimed at promoting soccer and increasing diversity in the sport.

I was born and raised in San Ramon, California, and at the age of eight, I picked up a passion for soccer that has stayed with me ever since. As a young girl of South Asian descent, I quickly realized that there were not many people who looked like me in the soccer world. I had to work harder than my peers to be taken seriously as a soccer player, and I experienced firsthand the barriers that athletes of color face in the sports world.

Despite these challenges, I remained determined to pursue my passion for soccer and create change in the sport. Through my own experiences, I realized the importance of promoting diversity and inclusion in sports and was inspired to create Kicks and Goals to help young girls from all backgrounds around the world.

Through my organization, I hope to provide opportunities for young girls to participate in soccer and other sports, regardless of their ethnicity or circumstances. I believe that everyone deserves a chance to pursue their dreams, and I am passionate about breaking down barriers and creating a more inclusive and diverse sports world.
