Summary:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and resourceful Community Connect Advisor to join our team. The primary function of this role is to develop, implement, and manage community engagement programs that promote soccer and our organization’s values. The ideal candidate is passionate about connecting with diverse communities and has a strong background in program development, community outreach, and relationship building.

This position is open for high school students. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement innovative community engagement programs that promote soccer and our organization’s values of accessibility, voluntarism, individual dignity, and participation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local schools, community organizations, and other stakeholders to expand the reach of our soccer programs and equipment distribution efforts.
• Organize and facilitate events, workshops, and information sessions that engage community members and raise awareness about KicksandGoals® and our soccer initiatives.
• Act as a liaison between the organization, community partners, and program participants, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Identify, recruit, and support local volunteers to assist in the implementation of community engagement programs and donation drives.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact and effectiveness of community engagement programs, providing feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a holistic approach to community engagement and soccer promotion.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of soccer and a passion for promoting the sport in an inclusive and accessible manner.
• Self-motivated, creative, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
