Summary:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice President of Advocacy Forum to join our team. The primary function of this role is to lead efforts in promoting inclusiveness in soccer at all levels, both in the United States and internationally. The ideal candidate has a strong background in advocacy, community outreach, and a passion for our organization’s mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive advocacy strategies to promote inclusiveness in soccer at all levels, locally, nationally, and internationally.
- Collaborate with the President, Board of Directors, and other key stakeholders to identify and prioritize areas of focus for advocacy efforts.
- Lead the Advocacy Forum, recruiting and mentoring forum members, and ensuring effective communication and collaboration among participants.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the soccer community, including governing bodies, clubs, associations, and other non-profit organizations.
- Advocate for policy changes, program development, and resource allocation to support inclusiveness in soccer at various levels.
- Organize and facilitate events, workshops, and presentations to raise awareness about inclusiveness in soccer and KicksandGoals®’s initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact and effectiveness of advocacy efforts, providing feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to develop compelling advocacy materials and messaging.
Qualifications:
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading teams and forums.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse audiences, including stakeholders, policymakers, and community members.
- Knowledge of soccer and a passion for promoting the sport in an inclusive and accessible manner.
- Ability to think strategically and creatively, and to develop and execute innovative advocacy initiatives.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
