Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies, including annual giving, major gifts, corporate partnerships, grants, and special events.
• Collaborate with the President, Board of Directors, and other key stakeholders to set fundraising goals and identify funding priorities.
• Lead the Fundraising Committee, recruiting and mentoring committee members, and ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners, including individuals, foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
• Develop and manage the fundraising budget, tracking revenue and expenses, and providing regular financial reports to the Board of Directors and other stakeholders.
• Implement and oversee donor recognition and stewardship programs to ensure ongoing engagement and support.
• Stay current on fundraising trends and best practices, and represent the organization at conferences, networking events, and other relevant gatherings.
• Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to develop compelling fundraising materials and messaging.

Qualifications:

• Open to high school students who are eager to develop their professional skills, gain hands-on experience, and seize opportunities for significant personal and professional growth.
• Experience in nonprofit fundraising is desired but not required
• Strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading teams and committees.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse audiences, including donors, partners, and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of fundraising best practices, techniques, and legal requirements.
• Ability to think strategically and creatively, and to develop and execute innovative fundraising initiatives.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
